Rare Vintage German Safety Fountain Pen – Highly Likely (95% Certainty) Montblanc Reflex Model 301, c. 1920s-1930s
Based on extensive research into design, materials, mechanism, and markings, this pen matches known Montblanc Reflex safety models with approximately 95% certainty. Reflex was Montblanc's affordable sub-brand, offering high-quality retractable-nib safety pens during the golden age of German fountain pen manufacturing.
Excellent vintage condition for its age (90+ years): glossy ebonite with minimal oxidation, no cracks or damage
The retractable mechanism works perfectly – nib extends and retracts smoothly and securely
Pen has NOT been inked or tested with ink (sold unrestored to preserve originality)
